Meena is also the Founder and Director of Community Calm, which is a community group that promotes mental and physical health.
Based at a local animal therapy farm and The Wildlife Trust in Windsor Great Park, the group provides nature-based therapies and peer-supported recovery spaces. Taking referrals from the NHS, charities, and community organisations, Community Calm offers individuals an opportunity to step away from life’s challenges, find relaxation, and embrace nature as a source of healing.
Meena's career journey began in television, where she worked as a researcher and documentary maker for the BBC before moving to the BBC Newsroom as a Media Manager. In 2001, she relocated to New York City to work at NBC Universal at the iconic 30 Rockefeller Centre, overseeing operations for major shows such as Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show, Law and Order, and the final episode of Friends.
In 2006, Meena reconnected with her roots and began studying Ayurveda and Yoga. She was inspired by how these ancient practices mirrored her childhood upbringing and how effectively they address common modern ailments.
Meena takes a client-centered approach in her home clinic, tailoring treatments to each individual's needs. She is a proud member of the Ayurvedic Medical Association (AMA), the British Association of Accredited Ayurvedic Practitioners (BAAAP), and the Complementary Therapist Association (CTha).
Her therapies are designed to complement conventional medical treatments, helping the body restore its natural balance.
Meena believes every person is unique and works to create personalised paths to health and wellness.
